THE ABANDONED SIX FLAGS PARK

Six Flags New Orleans was completely flooded when Hurricane Katrina struck The Big Easy and, five years later, it looks like the park will never open again.  In addition to the structures and rides being in an irreparable state, the city of New Orleans has fined the owners and instructed them to vacate their lease.  In the most literal sense of the word, this Six Flags park is dead.
