THE NEWLY DISCOVERED FROG THAT WAS THERE ALL THE TIME

Researchers have discovered a new species of frog in Borneo.  The strange thing is that specimens of this frog are in museum collections that are over 100 years old -- it was just always thought that the miniature frogs were juveniles instead of a full grown and unknown species.

These frogs, called Nepenthes ampullaria, live in and depend on the carnivorous pitcher plants where they deposit their eggs and allow their young to grow.
