Nguyen Thi Phuong was 23 years old when these pictures were taken.  Phuong quite literally aged fifty years in a few days when she switched medication to treat a seafood allergy.  The man next to her is her husband.

Doctors are trying to figure out the exact condition Mrs. Phuong suffers from, but believe that treatment may be possible that will restore 50-70 percent of her skin.
