THE 1908 LONDON OLYMPICS

There have been a few minor changes in crowd size, decorum, and dress in the last 100 years.  The 1908 Olympics was only the fourth modern games and took place over the course of six months and were relocated from Rome to London following a disastrous eruption of Mt. Vesuvius.
