Scary Movie "No mercy. No shame. No sequel." For a brief second they flash a RED movie rating screen, you may be able to catch that the movie is rated "I - IMMATURE". But what you miss, if you don't pause, is right under the "IMMATURE" it says, "We thought it would be funny to put this here. Kiss our asses and take it off pause."

Scary Movie is an exercise in debauchery.  It's a sick, twisted, deviant piece full of obscenity and perversion with full frontal nudity and unspeakable acts of sex that are just plain disgusting. Ghostface goes Matrix in Scary Movie. I loved it! That's right folks!  If you've been sickened by the latest and lamest Leslie Nelson comedies and thought that there was no hope for the sub genre of zany stupid movies, then Scary Movie will fill you with hope for the future (along with bile from some of it's sicker jokes). These zany movies are almost impossible to review.  After all, they seldom have a plot, the characters are almost always stupid comical stereotypes, and there's never anything of relevance in them.  The best way to give a grade to these movies is the old fashioned way... did I or did I not laugh? Well, I did.  It would be hypocritical of me to give Scary Movie a bad grade because I laughed more than enough to justify the ticket price.  The fault with Scary Movie is the same with the lamest and latest Leslie Nelson movies like Wrongfully Accused and Spy Hard... it becomes too concerned with copying other movies rather than parodying them.  Still, if you want sick, twisted, and disgusting and if you want to laugh your ass off for 88 minutes, go see Scary Movie.  Doofy rules, man! Note: Scary Movie was the original title of Scream.  The original title of Scary Movie? Scream If You Know What I Did Last Halloween!
