What do the Fun with Photoshop Awards mean?

The Bad Taste Award:
This award is given out to the photoshop that will most likely offend a large portion of people who see it.  The most offensive photoshops usually revolve around sex or involve mentally handicapped people or even children being killed and eaten.  Most offensive can also cover sensitive areas like terrorism, serial killings, or poop.  Whatever you think will rile some feathers.

The Dirty, Dirty, Dirty Award:
This award is bestowed on the most sexually depraved, horrible, or just downright crude photoshop that involves sex or the naughty bits of the human body... or the naughty bits of any other kind of animal.  Sex toys, crass innuendos, and masturbation is also a recurring theme.

Best Use of Riddick:
This award is given to the submission that depicts the most clever use of Riddick.

Best Use of Evil Kitty:
This award is given to the submission that depicts the most clever use of Evil Kitty and her plans to dominate the planet.

Best Self Reference:
This award is given to submissions that make fun of the contest, Rotten Tomatoes, The Slightly Warped Website, or other posters and artists.

Most Subtle and/or Obscure:
This award is given to the photoshop that references something completely off the wall that a lot of people just won't get.  It's the far-reaching ideas in these entries that make them special and it's that specialness that we honor here.  The award is also given to a witty photoshop where the change made is very subtle and may not be visible on the first look.

Cutest:
The kind of entry you look at and just say, "Awwwww!" to.  This is the kind of stuff that's so cute, it makes you want to puke rainbows.

Funniest:
The award given to the Photoshop that produces the biggest laughs, moron.

Best Reference to Another Movie or TV Show:
Inevitably, some dumbass puts the Ghostbusters or Jack and Rose from Titanic into a photoshop entry and think that it's the greatest thing since the invention of image manipulation.  "Huh huh!  I put Neo in the middle of a Winnie the Pooh movie!  Me am greatest photoshoping person ever!  Durrrrrr!"  However, some people find new and interesting ways of crossing the movie gulf and it's these people who win this award.

The Angelic Artist Award
We encourage disgusting and sickening photoshops in this contest, but we know also that sometimes it's harder to get a laugh without the crassness.  Therefore, this photoshop award is given to the entry that shows humor in good taste.

Most Original
This award goes to the person with the most original and off the wall idea for a photoshop.  Basically, it goes to the pictures that you look at and think, "Wow, I wouldn't have thought of THAT in a million years!"

The WTF!? Award
This award is presented to the photoshop that, while good, defies all kinds of explanations.  You just look at it and think, "What the FUCK!?"  That's about it.

Best Use of The God Warrior
You remember that crazy lady on Trading Spouses?  Yeah, in this category we make fun of her fat ass.

Best Animated
Animated means moving.  Figure it out, dipstick.

The "Caption This!" Award
This award is given to a photoshop that adds the funny with a single caption or word balloon.

The "A Little Did a Lot" Award
This award is given to a photoshop that adds the funny a minor or quick change to the original picture.

The Ever-Chanding Weekly Award
You never know what this award might be until it's actually given out.

Best Movie Poster
A new award, the Best Movie Poster goes to the photoshop that take a movie poster and twists it into something funny or perverted.

Most Skilled/Best Looking Photoshop
This award doesn't necessarily go to the funniest or most clever, but rather the seamless photoshop that looks like the most professional out of the bunch.

Honorable Mentions
Awarded to five entries that didn't make it into the other categories but deserve wicked props anyway.

Best All Around
The best of the best.  Skill, wit, and humor all converge into a twenty car pile up that can only be described as Best All Around.

What happened to some of the older awards?

Some were discontinued due to lack of entries, others were yanked out of the contest for the contest's own good.  Among the dead awards are:

Worst Use of Riddick and The Booby Prize
This award was discontinued due to idiots submitting dozens of terrible photoshops at once just to win an award.

Most Insensitive:
This award was rolled up into "The Bad Taste Award" to hopefully get posters to get their head out of the gutter and stop with all the tired lame buttake jokes.

Best Use of ZachBraff Fan:
This award is was changed to "Best Self Reference" due to a lack of entries.

Best Reference to Current Events:
This award was dropped due to a lack of entries.

What's the deal with Riddick showing up in so many photoshops?

Love him or hate him, Riddick has become a legend around Rotten Tomatoes and his influence has trickled down to slightlywarped.com.  He's a popular staple of the photoshop contests and we're sure that he will be stabbing his way into future contests long after The Chronicles of Riddick hit the bargain bins at Blockbuster.

Who the hell is The God Warrior?

The God Warrior was an overweight crazy lady who appeared on FOX's Trading Spouses and threw one of the biggest temper tantrums ever when she was exposed to an alternate non-Christian lifestyle.  She has since become a symbol of intolerance and general insanity and we love making fun of old Marge here.
